We all went to Vail for a week with Amanda on a work trip and another great family vacation. We drove up through Amarillo and stopped by my grandfather's grave, hit
Cadillac Ranch and moved on to Colorado Springs and
Garden of the Gods. We spent the rest of the week at the
Vail Cascade Resort and visited
Vail Village, LionsHead, went
whitewater rafting and took a
gondola to the top of Vail Mountain and hiked down. On the way back we stopped down for a while to check out
Royal Gorge.
