In October, Maddie and I had a great time at the Fort Worth Zoo (and in my opinion, the best zoo in DFW) for a pre-"I'm turning 10" celebration for her. The zoo had most of your standard fare, but the reptile exhibit was the best and it re-enforced my hatred of snakes. The highlight was in the aviary when Maddie got to hold and feed the birds.
In November, not to be outdone by her big sis, Sydney and I headed back for a fantastic fall day at the zoo.
