Spring break was not exactly tropical this year, but the whole family had a great time in the windy city again! We met my sister, Jen, and her family for a few days and visited the
Willis Tower Skydeck,
Water Tower Place on the Magnificent Mile, the
Field Museum,
Millennium and
Grant Parks. We also threw down some great Chicago food at the
Italian Village,
Gino's East,
Lou Malnati's,
Giordano's (we covered the Chicago hat trick of deep dish) and
Portillo's. The whole fam travelled out to Rockford for my cousin Ari's baby shower before we headed home. Maddie now says she wants to move to Chicago. Nice place, but we will see about that. ;)
