I travelled to San Diego to celebrate my brother Blake's 40th birthday. I hung around with the family in Poway for a few days and then travelled to Las Vegas with Blake to watch some of the PAC 12 men's basketball tournament at the MGM Grand Casino. We toured the
National Atomic Testing Museum, walked the strip and had some good food at places like
Tom's Urban and the
Hash House A Go Go. Back in SD, we took the train up to Oceanside, went for a hike in the
Los Penasquito Canyon Reserve and went for a couple of scenic runs to
Lake Poway and
Blue Sky Canyon Reserve. Good times!
