We celebrated Sydney's 15th birthday at the Paul McCartney concert as a family and with her friend, Julia. The Beatles are her favorite band (regardless of the fact that they broke up 34 years before she was born). Old Paul rocked out at the ripe old age of 76 for three hours in the Texas heat at the Ballpark in Arlington. He played all of the Beatles greatest hits, mixed in a few Wings hits, a couple of his own, and some non-descript new stuff. The show was truly amazing with a great light show and fireworks on Live and Let Die. The best songs were Something (on George's old ukelele), Live and Let Die, Hey Jude, and Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight. Awesome show!
