Seattle to Coeur d'Alene

Team Leonard headed to the great Pacific Northwest for our family vacation this summer and then on to Idaho for Amanda's Ironman. We had a great time in Seattle doing all of the touristy things: shopping in Pike Place Market, taking a ferry to Bremerton Island, a bike trip to Gas Pipe Park, checked out the stunning views from the Space Needle, a hike in Mount Rainier National Park, and even took in a Seattle Mariners baseball game. I would highly recommend a trip to this beautiful city on the sound!

The second part of our trip took us to the hilly, tree-lined resort town of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. We stayed at a friend's incredible lake house across the way from downtown where we boated, jet skied, kayaked, and swam. On race day, the FTC team took the boat across to the start for a long, 101 degree day of racing. It was an incredible experience.
